Meet our founder...
Megan O'Rourke is a lawyer and educator who has spent more than three decades bridging the gap between insurance law and insurance practice.
She brings senior experience from top-tier Australian law firms, has served as in-house counsel at an international insurer, and worked within the claims team of a global insurance broker - giving her a rare 360 degree view of the Australian insurance market.
With 30 + years’ experience as a litigator, insurance legal adviser and policy drafter, Megan now designs and delivers training for brokers, underwriters, claims teams, law practices and their leaders - building capability from first principles in the technical fundamentals that matter.
Known for her engaging, plain-speaking style, Megan has spent 15+ years delivering in-person and online training programs across Australia and New Zealand for teams and organizations of all sizes.
She believes the insurance profession needs a stronger grounding in the legal principles that underpin every GI policy - and she's determined to provide that learning platform.
Passionate about insurance & education, Megan's work has been recognised in the Best Lawyers List, and she has been a finalist in the Australian Law Awards.
Megan is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Law, Australia's leading post-graduate institution for legal practitioners.
